The September response and participation for skirt making was overwhelming so we added an October class is being offered.
Though we will have some fabric you can bring your own pre washed 2. 5 yards and your own 4 yards (per color) of ribbon of your choice. Instructor is Bev St John.

Saturday, 9am to 5pm : Prep & create handle
Sunday, 9am to 5pm: Shape handle & finish
The focus of this workshop is to teach those who want to carry this tradition forward. High quality materials provided include a Finnish blade, curly birch wood, antler, and nickel silver for the handle. Attendees can also bring their own beautiful piece of wood, horn, rawhide, or other material to use for a knife handle. Instructor: Steve Dahlberg

Bring home your own loaf of bread and homemade jam. This is a two-day workshop; First day- we will make our bread dough and then make jam. Second day we will be working the bread and baking.

Interested in learning the basics of sewing and upcycling old clothes? Bring your own material and thread and learn how to make pillow cases and other simple projects – even using old jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, etc. This class will be held at White Earth Tribal and Community College at the Main Campus in the Opichi Classroom.
